This prohibition forest is located in Pancawati Village Caringin Sub District Bogor Regency. It is about 28 kms from Cibinong. Visitors will come by to Cikeureuteug Vilage, from Cikeureuteug the location is about 7 kms away or from Cibinong it takes about 7 hours by car. The forest lays on the hill in the middle of Pancawati Village.
According to Mr. Wirya who is a caretaker of this sacred place, it is prohibited to anyone to take photos or write about this place, and due to his permission we are able to write a documentation about this place and take some photos.
According to the observation, this place is a sacred place due to the existence of hallow graves. One of the hallow graves belong to a figure of Islam disseminator and has a relation to Cikundul burial (grave of Arya Wiratama, Cianjur) and grave of Mbah Arya Pasir Angin in Megamendung Sub District.
Mr. Wirya mentioned some names such as 1. Syech Mama Wali Haji Yusuf, 2. Syarifah binti Ainoloh, 3. Amah binti Hasanah as figures who buried in this sacred place.
Number of pilgrims who come to this place range from 600 to 800 people. They are from Bogor and outside Bogor. Mostly are women. Their purposes are 1. pray for the spirits, 2. pray for May God bless their life 3. pray for May God gives them walfares and so on. Praying session is guided by a caretaker of this place.
